Memento from the Past
A recent post from Dick Eastman’s blog describes the discovery of an 80 year old note found in a glass bottle at a Delaware County bridge (Albany, Indiana).  Construction workers discovered it lodged within a cement pillar.  The note listed 17 names of the last crew who worked on the bridge between 1938 to 1939.  The note is now posted on the town’s website asking family members of the workers listed to submit photographs, memories and comments in order for the town to honor and recognize the crew.  Read the newspaper article HERE.
