Of Genealogy Interest

Florence Green Fair

There was a good crowd at the SGS booth during the Florence Green Fair this past weekend. Visitors showed great interest in learning more about family history research. Special thanks to members: Pat Rongey, Joe Culligan, Debbie Wakimoto, Pat Ness and Mike Allen for donating their time at the event.

The First Census – Member Jacquie Beveridge shares a link to an interesting article about a recently discovered 1780 population count.  Read it HERE.

SGS Monthly Meeting – Wednesday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m.
This month’s meeting presentation will feature Part 2 of the DVD Webinar, Taming Your Inner Packrat: Genealogy Clutter Buster Mini-Boot Camp with Lisa Alzo.  Part 1 was entertaining and informative last month, so you won’t want to miss Part 2.  The public is invited!
A general business meeting follows the presentation.
