Siuslaw Genealogical Society January Meeting

Is your Civil War ancestor missing from your family tree? More than 3.5 million American men on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line fought in the 1861-1865 Civil War.

The January 20th  Siuslaw Genealogy Society meeting will feature a presentation by SGS member Jo Ann Garlington on Confederate Prisoners War.  The presentation will  illustrate her research using her great grandfather’s Confederate war experience.
This is Part 1 of a two part series of Civil War POWS, with Part 2 to be presented in February by member Mike Allen (‘A Union Soldier’s Story’)
