We were treated to a variety of great stories at the November SGS meeting during another segment of Genealogy Shorts. Many thanks to members Louise Carlson, Pat Rongey and Merilee Mulvey. If you weren’t lucky enough to be in attendance, or want to enjoy hearing the presentations again, click the links below. The audio recordings will be available until Dec 30. Merilee’s reference document of research tools is also available for viewing and downloading.
Louise Carlson schooled us on how a country auction works, and spoke about diaries she has acquired, including one discovered in an auction box of linens and another set of diaries she was able to research and send to a descendant of the diary’s owner.
